Spearhead improvements to existing digital templates and products and lead the creation of new ones
Participate in creative brainstorms in response to RFPs to generate innovative visual concepts
Source and oversee network of artists, designers, and developers
Lead the visual identity and branding of ECrent and all affiliations
Collaborate closely with marketing and IT teams
Stay abreast of trends and competitor's work in the space
Provide creative direction for all branded content programs
Create and implement design best practices and process
Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule
Bachelor's degree and minimum two years of related work experience in graphic design, videography and editing, still photography and editing, marketing, public relations or communications.
Should exhibit initiative to develop and complete projects and be able to work with others internally (department/college) and external customers in business, industry and government.
Must have proven ability to deal with multiple, ongoing projects simultaneously.
Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, shоwdiplomacy in working with a variety of people, graphic arts skills, videography competency, photography skills, and the ability to conceive, design, implement and complete a sophisticated communication strategy
Must have effective communication and interpersonal relations, independent judgment, discretion in handling confidential matters, ability to work under pressure of deadlines and be sensitive to OSU and the College of Arts and Sciences image.
Must have experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and/or Flash) and Microsoft Office, and should be comfortable using both Windows and Macintosh operating platforms.
Must have experience preparing files and materials for multiple applications (print, video and web).
Must have working knowledge and proven ability to utilize design and advertising principles/concepts
Must have experience and skill in both AP style writing and marketing writing. Must be proficient with video-editing software. Must have ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and work with numerous stakeholders
Must have ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Proven experience working with a variety of audiences to ensure proper image, mission and ideals of organization are met and exceeded through all internal and external communication mediums.
